With the addition of The Feeding Frenzy 5k that will take place on Saturday evening on Canal Street, there are two challenges that participants can take on:

1. 5k Challenge

This Challenge the participants take part in Saturday's The Feeding Frenzy 5k and Sunday's Shark Bite 5k.

Participants will receive an additional Challenge Medal on top of their two (2) Finisher Medals from the races. So a total of 3 medals.

2. Half Challenge

This Challenge the participants take part in Saturday's The Feeding Frenzy 5k and Sunday's Shark Bite Half.

Participants will receive an additional Half Bonus Medal, on top of the Challenge Medal, The Feeding Frenzy 5k Medal, and the Shark Bite Half Medal. So a total of 4 medals.

No, the race is not run on the beach. This is a certified road race.

Unfortunately we are no longer able to allow dogs at the event. With the large number that requested permission this year, we had to limit the event to only Service Animals.

Many of our events are dog friendly, but with the numbers increasing over the years, for safety and liability reasons we ask you keep your animals at home.

Our popular Saturday Shark Bite Half Expo will be dependant on the current Covid-19 Protocol at the time. This will be the only pre-race spot to pick up your packet.

There are no restrooms on course affliated with run.

There will be Water Stations every two miles that have water and some sort of electrolyte drink.

Water Station at Mile 8 will have Clif Gels available.

Yes, course time limit will be: 4 hours for half marathon.

Results will be texted (as long as you opt in during registration) to your phone or email address within minutes of finishing the event.

Flagler Avenue cooridoor has places throughout.

Parking in the Flagler Avenue Boardwalk will be limited do to event staff, staging, and festivities.

This is all dependent on current Covid-19 Protocol at time of the event.

The party zone will be located at the Flagler Ave Boardwalk Parking Lot.. All of-age participants will receive a Free Local beer provided by New Smyrna Beach Brewing Co.

We have some awesome vendors so make sure you check them out.

There will be pizza available for participants at the finish line snacks, and we have some other vendors that will have some other race day goodies as well.
